"Hi I'm Jason a former Mac genius and I am here to show you some tips and tricks today and we are going to cover some basic stuff. Our first clip is going to have to do with how to add widgets to your Mac OS tiger dashboard. So I'm going to be covering that in clip one, here we go. So we are going to go down to our dashboard, down here and we start recording. Your dashboard is located on your doc. It looks like a little speedometer and when you click on it one time it will bring your widgets up and widgets are basically web based applications that will show you how to, they're kind of like shortcuts. So they access the internet and you have to be on line to use them. So you can use weather, calculator, there are certain things that are set up and you can download anything from Apple for free. So in our dashboard here these are the widgets and if we want to look at the widgets that we have downloaded or that come preinstalled with Apple we are going to hit this little plus sign down here and you are going to see the bottom of the screen, scroll up and these are all of your widgets down here. If you want to add a widget to your dashboard you simply click on it and hold the mouse while you drag it out and then you release the mouse and your widget is now on your dashboard. You will notice that when this arrow is trolled up it becomes an X and while you have access to your widgets, all these little X's at the top left hand corners of the boxes are how you add or delete widgets so if we were to close what we just added to the doc we would click on the X and it would close that widget. If you want to use your widgets just click on them and you can begin using them. Most widgets are going to have a little eye down here in the corner which is information and if you click on that that will allow you to access any of the widget's functionality or settings for it. So if we wanted to check the weather in Denver, Colorado we would click on the input field and type in Denver. Hit done and this is going to switch to Denver here shortly. There it is. So there is our Denver and it looks like today in Denver there is some showers and thunder and rain and evil wrong weather so to get out of our dashboard we just simply click on the background and the dashboard again disappears. It is accessible down again in the doc and if you have more than a few widgets, down here in the corner, after you have the screen kind of rolled up a bit you have a 1 of 2 and if you click on that it will give access to more widgets as you add them or download them from the Apple store. So I'm Jason and that was how to add widgets to your Mac OS tiger dashboard. Thank you."
