How to Convert Your Windows-Using Friends to Macs

"Hi, I'm Jason, and today we're going to have a quick chat about converting friends to MAC from PC. So, why would you want to convert who you've known and trust to a MAC from a PC if they've used a PC their whole life? There's a list of reasons for this. I'm pretty passionate about MACs. I have converted my mother and my stepdad to a MAC and my stepmother actually to a MAC. I think the most common thing is ease of use and firewall. Macintosh OS Ten has a built in firewall that you can easily access and turn on your firewall, and as you know if you've had a PC you've got, you have to upgrade your system and you have to buy all this software, and your bugging software, and optimize your hard drive and do all this. MAC OS Ten also utilizes a Unix based operating system and the first Unix boxes were actually not turned off for four years, so we can see some stability there I'm thinking. And the operating system overall is a more visual, friendly operating system to use. There's no ten thousand levels of hierarchy like a Windows PC. And you're also looking at usability in the interface and in an artistic format, people think that they're only for artists or they're only for people that do creative stuff or whatever like that. But they're really not. They function on all levels, and they're making their way, steadfast, into the business market as well. So the stability, usability is extremely easy and also one of the biggest things about is OS ten is all the IAPPS, which is called the iLife. iTunes, iPhoto, iDVD, and iMovie, and GarageBand. All those - and iWeb also. All tie together with the system so with your operating system you get all the things you need to do anything you want to do instead of having to go out and buy this to do this project and buy a moving editing suite to do this project, and to buy an audio for this project. You've got everything on your system there that comes with the computer so you don't have to upgrade. And the latest Windows system, Vista, a lot of the users to utilize that system have to add hardware to upgrade and with MACs, they write the operating systems to optimize machines up to seven years old, so, that's, there's really no conversation when you present the facts.
