"Hi, I'm Chris Murray, and I'm going to give you some tips on how to eat right for youth soccer. Having a balanced nutrition and good diet is very important when being a youth soccer player. Soccer is a game where being physically fit and having a good amount of endurance and stamina is very important. Nutrition plays a big part of this--of these two aspects of the game. By avoiding greasy foods and ultimately foods that are labeled as junk food and unhealthy food will really give you a step above the competition. By eating apples, oranges, many different fruits and vegetables, and drinking a lot of fluids is really a good source of nutrition. Fluid is very big in soccer. Being hydrated can really help you out during a ninety minute game, especially in the heat. Being hydrated and having a good diet will really help your stamina and endurance. For the body being able to burn these, needed carbohydrates and sugars can really help you perform at a high level. And those are just some tips for healthy eating for youth soccer."
