"My name is Dr. Endre Sos and I will tell you a few words about how to keep your rabbit healthy. First of all it is very important to know your rabbit well to see if there are any changes because these changes can be symptoms of disease. So if you play with your rabbit if you pet your rabbit often and you see the normal behavior of your rabbit this will help you to tell if it has disease. This means that you have to check your rabbit daily and you have to check certain parts of your animal. Check whether the eyes are shiny, whether the ears are clean, whether the nails are short enough on the paws and whether the feces is o'kay or whether there is any discharge. Check to see if you see any discolorations, wounds or bumps on the animal. If you see any of these just contact immediately your local veterinarian because these can be signs of disease and some of these are very very dangerous. Rabbits can die within a very short time so if you notice a disease soon then you have good or better chances to save your animal."
