"My name is Dr. Endre Sos and I will tell you a few words about how to train a rabbit. First of all one must remember that rabbits are rabbits so don't expect any kind of cat or dog behavior. Rabbits are very intelligent but very independent creatures so if you want to train them you can achieve a lot but be aware of the expectations. Rabbits can be learned and can be taught to do many things like using the litter pad or just following a few guidances. What is very important the repetition so if you want to have new behavior or you want to teach your rabbit something that has not been done before just be aware that you have to do it at least one or two hours each day and you can probably expect two or three weeks to have this behavior memorized by the rabbit. The other important thing that there are differences between them, there are dumb ones and there are very intelligent ones so you cannot expect the same from every rabbit. The other very very important thing that never hit your rabbit. This will just cause pain, fear and you will not reach the goal that you have set for yourself. The positive reinforcement is a very important tool when you are training rabbits which means if you get the good behavior if you want to reach the good results always give a treat for your rabbit and the animal will associate this good treatment with the good learning process."
