"Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg from Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to teach you how to keep your dog from biting. If you have a bitey dog, or a puppy that's biting. One of the best things that you can do, along with a firm no, try not to be emotional about it. Just firm about it, be assertive. But if you do have a dog that's being mouthy, like Rhia can be, one of the things you can do is give them a good chuck under the chin. Which is by putting your hand, making a little hollow hole, we're going to. Give her a little pop underneath the chin. What that's going to do is it's going to close her mouth, and it's going to reverberate up into her brain, they don't like it. So, Rhia. We're going to entrap her into putting her mouth on us. And then come right up underneath, and make her close her jaw, creating that sound, and she's not going to like it. This is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg, and this has been how to train your dog not to bite."
