"Hello. My name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg from Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to teach you how to stop your dog from jumping. One of the best things, you know, whether it be a big or a small dog, is to pop your knee out. You know, if it's a small dog and the dog jumps up you just want to give it, just unlock your knee and let it pop. So in the case that it's a big dog, you know, you may have to give a little more heave with your knee, but if it's a small dog basically what you want to do is just unpop your knee. Just to knock them off balance and get them off. We're not trying to knee them and send them across the room, we just want to knock them off balance, get them off. And what you never want to do when they're jumping is pet them or touch them, even if it's to push them away with your hands. So, what you want to do is use your elbows, your knees, or turn your back. Preferably not turning your back. Elbows or knees is the best thing. They always interpret hands as praise. This is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg and this has been how to stop your dog from jumping."
