Now what you notice in some dogs get that sad look, and it's easy to give into it, but you really want to try to avoid your dogs begging eyes, ignore them, and if it's too much to ignore the begging eyes, you may want to put the dog in a crate, and confine them while you're doing whatever it is you're doing, while the dog is giving you the begging eyes. Sometimes corrections can help, but the best thing to do is just let them know with a firm, no, and walk away. Sometimes when the dogs give you these begging eyes, if you do walk away, and ignore them, they get the point that you're the boss, you make the decisions, and don't give in to their begging eyes, because if you do, they've won one battle and their confidence will grow.
