Hi I'm James with JNC home repair. Today I'm going to show you how to choose the right power saw. Depending on what you are trying to do, what you are trying to cut is going to determine what kind of power saw you need. If you are building using a lot of lumber you know you need a precise straight cut, you can't really go wrong with a skill saw or a circular saw. This is going to be the most common type of saw that you are going to use for you know, using the right power saw for lumber and stuff. This is the type of saw that you are going to use. It's you know got a lot of different adjustments on it where you can actually cut forty five degree angles. You can do a lot of different things with it. You can cut different size lumber with it. But if you are doing like maybe some demo work or something you might be in a tight spot and you can't really get this skill saw in there, you'll notice the skill saw is kind of bulky and it's designed to run straight on your lumber. A power or a reciprocating saw or a sawzall which most people call them, it's going to give you a little bit more maneuverability. You are going to be able to get into tight spots and actually cut different things with it. If you are doing a lot of demo work you are probably going to want to use something like this, some kind of skill, I mean a sawzall because it's going to give you options on how to cut different angles and you basically just get into tight spots. It's just determining what you are trying to use the saw for and then you just base it on that and what type of power saw you need to use.
