"Hi this is Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution in South Beach, Miami, Florida. In this clip we're talking about how you can lose weight and maintain a beautiful body after age fifty. So if you are over fifty, you can still maintain, you definitely still can maintain a beautiful body image and be healthy and lean. Keep in mind, however, that after menopause, the body naturally starts to accumulate more fat and the purpose of that is actually for protection. Protection of your bones, protection of your organs. So it's a natural body mechanism. So you're going to kind of be working with that and making sure also that your bones are protected and that they're dense, rich with their minerals and fatty acids that they need. Ways to lose weight when you're over fifty are to really work on balancing your hormones to make sure you don't have too much estrogen. So the best way to do that is to reduce your sugars and includes foods in your diet that help to relieve excess negative estrogen. Foods like broccoli, cauliflower, kale and brussels sprouts.
