"Hi, my name is Steve Anthony. I'm a guitarist, musician, singer, actor, based out of New York and Miami. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to play guitar in the key of F sharp or G flat. Now those, those are the same chord. If you look at the F sharp relative to the F you can see why they call it F sharp; we've moved it up a half step. If we call it G flat it's because if we start with a G chord and we drop it down a half step, now it's G flat, but of course that's exactly the same chord. So in a, in the key of F sharp slash G flat the basic chords that go with that key are F sharp as the root, B as the fourth, C sharp as the fifth. F sharp, B, F sharp, C sharp. Now another way to do this without having to do all the bar chording is to take your capo, if you have one; if you don't, go get one, and place it on your second fret. Now when you play an E chord shape it becomes F sharp, and then when you play an A shape it becomes B. You can play a B7 shape and it becomes a C sharp. Once again, my name is Steve Anthony, and this has been how to play guitar in the key of F sharp or G flat."
