"Hi, my name is Steve Anthony. I'm an actor, musician, singer, based out of New York and Miami. In this clip we're going to talk about how to play guitar in the key of E. Using the E chord as our root, let's talk about a one, four, five pattern. Now in that case one, meaning the root or E chord, four would be A chord, five would be a B. You can also play it as a B7. It's easier to play as an open chord. So you go from E to A to B7. This is a very common pattern in a blues song, for example would be like... That was basically a blues progression in E and I used the chords E, A, and B, B7 in this case. I did a little flourish at the end. But in essence, that is how you do an E scale.
