"Hi my name is Steve Anthony. I'm an actor, singer, musician based out of New York and Miami. In this clip we're going to talk about how to play guitar in the key of D. Now this is a D chord and in the key of D, that would be the root chord. So we can start with the D chord. It can also be played in this position. But for this video, we're going to stay in the open position. The chords involved in the key of D would be D obviously as the root, G which is the four of the one, four, five pattern, which is D, G, A. It would sound a little bit like this. So again you've got your root chord or the one which is a D chord, the four which is a G and the five which is an A. So those are the chords that work together in the key of D.
