"Hi, I'm Steve Anthony. I'm a musician, actor, singer, based out of New York and Miami. Today, we're going to talk about how to play a guitar, and for the purposes of this demonstration I'm going to be first using a pick. Take your pick; hold it between your thumb and forefinger so that you can attack the strings like this. You want to drag it straight across the strings. Happen to be playing; this happens to be a G chord. You can just gently strum the strings; change chords to give a different sound. It's a good way to learn how to make a song. If you want to graduate to another way to play the guitar, and in in this case an acoustic guitar is to, is to use an alternating picking pattern, and you can also use your fingers; you don't have to use a pick, doing the same thing. It's a little softer sound. It's whatever you decide works for you. Once again, I'm Steve Anthony, and this has been how to play a guitar."
