"This is Tim McKeig of the UNCW Seahawks and today we are here at the Wilmington Ice House in North Carolina and we are going to show you how to get properly equipped for ice hockey. Some of the things you are going to want to take into consideration while getting equipped for ice hockey. First and foremost is you are most likely going to want to visit a pro shop like I'm at here today in Wilmington and consult with a sales associate maybe a rink manager and they will be able to get you started on your way. Research is key when getting yourself equipped for the game. You are going to want to look into some of the different brand names, equipment sizes and styles in order to properly suit yourself as a player. Some of the things that the sales associates here at the pro shop may help you with when getting you equipped for the game would be such sizing charts as this skate thing. They are going to get you properly sized, that way you can have proper comfort stability all that good stuff when you are out on the ice. Price ranges on these things can range anywhere from as low as $20 per item up to $200, $300 per item depending on your level of play. Also when you are getting yourself equipped you are going to want to get yourself one of these bags. This is going to allow you to hold all of your gear that you will be assisted with getting by one of the sales associates at a pro shop. Also there are many on line things you can look at while researching the different types of equipment and those would be some of the ways you want to go about equipping yourself for ice hockey."
