"Hi my name is Lauren with Makeup By Dodge and today we are going to be talking about how to wear a red lip. Now not just anybody can wear a red lip. It really just takes you trying it on to see if the color really goes with you or not. Something you should really remember when you are applying your lip color, make sure that the eyes are not so played-up. If the lips and eyes are played-up it will look incredibly made up. So if you're going to do a really bright red lip make sure that the eyes are as minimal as you can make it. Maybe just like a dust of eyeshadow, just really, really, really minimal with a red lip. The first thing that you really want to remember when you're doing a red lip is you're going to definitely one-hundred percent going to want to use lip-liner. Without lip-liner that red lip's going to be all over the place by the end of the night, and we don't want to look like that. So when you do the lip-liner make sure you color in the lines. Use a very definite line when it comes to the red, because it's a very, very distinct color. After you've finished going over the lip with the lip-liner take your red color and with a lip brush gradually build the red onto itself. Let it feel the temperature of your skin and it will become a little bit more malleable it'll work a little, if you just slap it on there it's going to be kind of a mess. So red is something to contend with and make sure that when you're doing red you do it one piece at a time and it will look flawless."
