How to Choose the Right Mascara

"Hi I'm Lauren with makeup by Dodge and today we will be talking about how to choose the right mascara. Now there are a couple of things that you really should know when you are choosing your mascara. First consider whether or not you consider yourself to be a sensitive person with sensitive eyes because if you choose a waterproof version of mascara it is one, harder to get off and two it usually has some stuff in it that really makes your eyes more sensitive and it waters a little bit more. I personally love waterproof mascara just because all day long you can keep it on and it won't smudge. There is black, there is brown, there is all sorts of colors. If you want natural go with brown, if you want more glamorous, voluminous look go with black and you can also consider the hair color that you have. If you are a very light blond or if you are a red head you will probably want to go with brown for the more natural look. If you are brunette or if you are blond and you want to just do a little vavoom then you can go with black and that would be great too. Also consider the wands, the wands each have a different shape to them. The crescent shape wand will help you curl your lashes as you use your mascara. The more thick looking wand will help voluminize your eyes and give your eyelashes a little bit more body to them. There is a few more that help lengthen, there is another that helps define individually so make sure that you look at the package on your mascara and decide what you really need."
