"Hi, I'm Charles with ATX Audio/Video. Many people come and ask me, How do you get better speaker sound. There's a few simple things you can do to get better speaker sound out of your current setup. First is to upgrade your speaker wire. If you're running 18 gage, move it up to 16 gage. If you're currently running 16, you might want to move up to 14 gage speaker wire. The bigger speaker wire will allow more current to transfer to the speakers, giving you better volume, and also better dynamic level. Another easy step to do is to go into the EQ on your receiver. Most people commonly go in and turn the bass and the treble all the way up. By doing that it boosts the bass frequencies at a preset frequency, and boosts the treble at a preset frequency. I like to leave my receivers EQ set at a flat EQ, 0 on the bass, and 0 on the treble. And that is how you get better speaker sound."
