"Hi, I'm Charles with ATX Audio Video. Many people ask how do you pick the proper LCD screen size. To pick the proper LCD screen size you should take the height of your LCD TV. Right here I have a Samsung forty inch which has a screen height of twenty inches. The optimum seating position would be three times the screen height which would be sixty inches or five foot. You can also sit further away from the TV screen but it is not recommended you sit closer because once you get closer you will actually start to see the pixels which are the individual dots that make up the picture. For a thirty two inch it would have screen height of about sixteen to seventeen inches which you could get even closer in the three to four foot range. A larger screen such as a fifty-two inch will have a seating distance minimum of about six to seven foot."
