"Hi, I'm Charles with ATX audio video. Many people commonly ask me how do you set up a plasma TV. To set up a plasma TV there's a few basic steps. First you want to remove the TV from its packaging instead of from a secure stand. Usually the weight is listed on the outside packaging of the TV. Make sure that the stand you place it on has enough support to support the weight of the television set. Second, you're going to have to hook the power out and take the standard plug out of the box, plus the electric supply into the back of the TV and then into the wall. Finally, you'll have to hook up your input sources to it. There is two different cables used to.. to connect HD devices with the plasma screen TV. There's a component cable on the left hand which has a red, green, and blue RCA cable. There's also an HTMI cable which stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, this is the recommended cable for hooking up a plasma TV, 'cause this is a full digital cable that also transmits digital audio to a plasma TV. And that is how you hook up a plasma TV."
