"Hi, I'm Charles of ATX audio/video. Many people come and ask me- how do you connect an HD device to get the best picture quality to your HDTV? There are two ways to connect an HD device to an HDTV to get high definition picture. In my left hand I have a component cable which consists of a red, green, and blue RCA connector. This is an analog high definition signal. On the green channel, the picture is carried the black and white, vertical, and horizontal image. And, then the blue and the red carry the colors minus themselves. In my right hand, I have an HDMI cable, which stands for high definition multi media interface. This is what will give you the best quality picture on your HDTV. It is a true digital high definition cable that transmits high definition video and audio to your high definition TV set."
