"Hi, I'm Charles with ATX audio video. Many people ask me, how do you pick the proper plasma TV screen size? The first tip is to measure the height of your plasma TV screen. Behind me, I have a forty two inch Samsung plasma with a screen on it with twenty one inches. The minimum seating distance would be sixty three inches or just a hair over five foot. If you get any closer than five foot, you begin to notice the individual pixels on the screen and the picture quality decreases. For larger living rooms, I normally recommend a fifty inch or larger plasma. For smaller rooms such as bedrooms and guest rooms, I would recommend something in the thirty to forty inch range. And even for additional, smaller rooms such as bathrooms, I would put something in the twenty inch to the lower thirty inch range."
