"Hi, my name is Sue Conrad and I'm going to show you how to do a proper push up. You're going to start on the mat. And I'm going to start off with the basic or the modified version. Okay, you want to extend your body forward, you want to cross your ankles, have your arms a little further than shoulder width apart, back nice and straight, and you're just going to bend your elbows down towards the mat and then push back up. This is a good exercise 'cause you do not need any additional equipment. You're just going to bring your body forward leading with the chest and nice and relaxed, keeping the body nice and long and the core muscles nice and tight. Okay. Now for an advanced option or basic push up, you want to extend the legs out on the toes, back nice and straight, you're going to come down towards the mat and push back up nice and slow. Okay, try one more time, keeping the core nice and tight, back nice and straight, pushing up nice and slow. Again, again that is how to do a proper push up."
