"Hi my name is Sue Conrad and I'm going to show you how to stretch your quadriceps. You want to pick an area where you can balance, on whether it be a chair or a wall for support. I'm going to use the edge of this piece of equipment. Grab your left foot by the laces, pull into the glute muscles, gluteal muscles, push the hips forward slightly, shoulders back and relax. You are going to hold this stretch for fifteen seconds. If you want to extend this stretch push the hips forward slightly, make sure that the shoulders stay relaxed and keep good posture, and you want the abs nice and tight. Ok once you've done that for fifteen seconds you are going to switch legs. You are going to pull the right foot, hit the heel into the gluteal muscle. Push the hips forward slightly, roll the shoulders back, tighten up the abs. You get a nice gentle stretch. Remember to extend the stretch you can push the hips forward just slightly, while you pull the leg back. You are going to hold that stretch for fifteen seconds and again this is how you stretch your quadriceps."
