"Hi, I'm James with JNC Home Repair, today I'm going to show you how to remove old paint from bricks. First thing you want to remember about removing paint from bricks is the brick is a porous material so it's going to be rather difficult to get it off. One method you could use is you can actually power wash, if it's an exterior, you can power wash the brick and put it on a real high pressure setting and you can actually remove the paint that way. If you don't have a power washer and you maybe just got a couple of drops here and there, you can actually use some products like 'Oops'. It's actually called oops or you could use paint thinner, paint stripper, there's numerous little things you could use and you can also work in a wire brush, while you're doing it, and it'll help get some of that old stuff off. It may be a little difficult, or maybe have to use some elbow grease but sooner or later, you can get it off."
