"Hi, I'm James with JNC Home Repair. Today I'm going to show you how to paint your baseboards without streaks. First thing you want to know about painting, there's no way that you can actually get the streaks out of paint unless you spray paint. The only way you're ever not going to have any streaks is if your surfaces that got to be sprayed. Any surface that's been brushed and rolled, if you really, really give it a close inspection, you'll actually see the brush marks. You know, a good painter may be able to cover it up a little bit, but nine times out of ten you're going to be able to see the streaks. And the only way that you can probably do it is actually spray the trim and that involves a little bit more masking, it involves a little bit more prep, it's a little bit more messier to do. When you're spray painting you've got to worry about over-spray getting all over the place, getting all over the floor, getting all over the walls, getting here and there, and it can even get into the AC ducts and get all over the house. So, you know, you need to make your proper precautions before you start spraying anything inside your home."
