Planning a Honeymoon

"The honeymoon, well that's the most fun of the whole thing. I'm Vivian Miller, I'm Kathie Millen with Austin Wedding Planners and Elite Events. Planning the honeymoon, guys that's usually where your whole category, that's what you're going to be planning. It's lots of fun, lots of questions and lots of things to look at on that fabulous website and on the Internet where you can go and really research some things out. Or get a hold of a great travel agent and they usually know what, they can really help you on documentation you have to have going in to certain countries, they can tell you what sales promotions they have, the dos and the don'ts flight arrangements. You know, I had a groom that picked his honeymoon and all that and he booked it at a nude beach. I just though that was funny, he was like, we stayed indoors all, you know. And then we had a groom recently that there was one little niche in it where they needed to book a flight from one island to the next and he forgot to do that. So we had to do that right at the last minute. So those travel agents are great where they can help you cover that whole basis. And the most important thing is go somewhere that you can truly get away and just have a really fun time together, something that both of you want to do. There may be some things the guy wants to do one day and the girl the next, and then things you can do together and that's the most important thing, just spend lots of time together and have lots of fun on that honeymoon and enjoy things. Now a lot of travel agents, true travel agents, they offer on their websites, and you can talk to them and ask them about this, but a bridal registry, where if you, you can pick whatever vacation you want and you can actually have your friends and your family actually pay in to your honeymoon, and they love doing that. And they love it and the best part about it is if they overpaid and after your honeymoon trip you picked out, if there's money left over, by the time you get home from that honeymoon there's a nice check waiting for you at the end of the trip. That's right. So it's a nice touch especially couples that have been living together for quite some time, that have already have set up house, and they really truly don't need a whole lot of new stuff. It' almost a perfect little thing there is to have your honeymoon paid for you. Anyhow, this is Kathie Millen and Vivian Miller, have fun."
