Series Summary

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Known as football in most countries of the world, soccer is a team sport consisting of two teams of 11 players each, one of which must be the goalie. The game has been played for centuries and can be dated back as far as second and third century B.C. China. "Hi, my name is Jill Weiss, I'm going to give you just some tips on how to go about buying used soccer cleats. First thing you want to do is, maybe do a little bit of research, ask other coaches, as other athletes, even going to a sports store, and asking whoever is familiar with those types of shoes. You also want to make sure that you are paying attention to the sole, the regulation rubber, that gives it more traction and stability on the field. You want to make sure that you're buying for the short term. You don't have to buy them in the cheapest, or the most expensive cleats, but plan on almost buying every season for a child, especially a young kid with, they're always growing. When you're looking for cleats for the young beginner, make sure that there's enough room for them to kind of move around in. Rule of thumb, take your thumb and it shouldn't be longer than a thumbs length between your toe and the end of the shoe. You also want to make sure that they're comfortable. Remember that leather will fit to the athletes foot. So those are just a few tips on buying a soccer cleat."
