"Hello I'm John Riedling and today I'm going to show you how to throw a curve ball. On a curve ball the first thing is the first thing is actually is getting the grip. Now when throwing a curve ball you want to have your finger against the seams. Have something to push against. You don't want to have it in the middle where your finger slips off. You want to keep it on the seams. Ok. When you are throwing a curve ball, you want to keep the wrist real loose, real loose. And mechanic wise it's real important to have the right mechanics in throwing a curve ball. The three important components of the mechanics in throwing a curve ball is stand back, stand closed and finishing. Following through. Ok. What I mean by staying back is you want, you want everything to stay back and lastly your arm come up. Staying closed is keeping your chin and your knee together, keeping the body closed. Now that will keep you closed. And then following through is the knee over the chest and that will get you to follow through. If you don't do those three, you are going to have a very inconsistent curve ball. And the key to throw a good curve ball is having that consistency and really focusing on those three components of your mechanics. And now I'm going to be showing you how to throw a curve ball. Oh, and that's how you throw a wild curve ball."
