"Coach Rudy, Big Ten Alumni. Got my buddy Eli here. We're going to demonstrate how to block. Very, very important part of the game. Fundamental part. You have to learn how to block, you have to learn how to tackle. Right now we're going to focus on blocking. First thing we do is we get in our stance, and we identify our target. Most of our targets will be moving. So we have to select an area that is going to be our strike position. So we prepare, we bow are neck, we slide our head to the outside part, we drive the person in the position away from the area that the ball is going to. We drive the person away from the position of the ball to create a hole for our running back to get through. It's very important that we learn how to block. We drive our legs, we bow our neck, we strike, we drive, drive, drive, and we keep going until the whistle is blown. Always block until you hear the whistle."
