"Hey I'm Mike and I'm going to show you how to throw a tailing fastball. When throwing a tailing fastball you're going to grip the ball in your normal four seam fastball grip, as you throw, as you throw the four seam fastball, rather than than throwing the ball in a overhand manner, you're going to throw the ball with a three quarters arm action, and by a three quarters arm action, you will throw the ball with your arm extended out into the three quarters range, arm slot. This would be over the top, this would be sidearm, and this is three quarters. By throwing the ball three quarters, you would create side spin on the ball, what will give you tail to the fastball, giving you a tailing fastball. I'll now demonstrate how to throw a tailing fastball, and that's how you throw a tailing fastball."
