"Hey, I'm Mike, and today I'm going to show you how to throw a slider. When throwing a slider, you need to grip the ball with the correct grip. When gripping a slider you want to take your middle finger, and place it along the outside seam of the baseball. As you do this your pointed finger should fall right alongside it. This will allow you to throw the ball, and come off the side, and allow you to have spin on the ball. The spin that the grip will create should pre-create movement. It should create a sliding effect as the ball is thrown to the plate. The more able you are to get a a a more true and tight spin, the more movement you are, you are able to get. I will now show you how to throw a slider. And that's how you throw a slider."
