"Hey I'm Mike, and I'm going to show you how to switch hit today. First thing to do whenever you're trying to learn how to switch hit, you need to decide which is your dominant side and which side you need to work on the most. Whenever you determine what side is your dominant side, you need to practice that side until you have it mastered. After that you can turn to the other side and start developing your skills there. To switch hit simply means that you can hit effectively from both sides of the plate. This being right-handers batters box, and this being left-handers batters box. Most people aren't very good switch hitters because it's so hard to master dominating both sides of the plate. It's important whenever you're doing doing this to understand that you need to use correct mechanics whenever you're going from both sides of the plate in order to achieve success at all levels. Also when is it's important to realize the differences the the pitcher will throw to you. Pitchers that are right-handed are less likely to be able to have be successful against left-handed batters. And pitchers that are left-handed are less successful against right-handed batters. So whenever you're deciding to switch hit also take this into account. And this is how you switch hit."
