"Step eight. Now we've taken our really beautiful, decorative ribbon and we've woven it through one heart and then through another. Now, this is really, really, really important. You want to make sure that before you go on from one heart to the next that you tie a knot in the side of the ribbon that's exiting one of the paper hearts just like this. Just a simple knot, doesn't have to be anything fancy. Also, this is a great time to teach your children how to tie knots which is a really great life skill. Alright. Then you're going to let about one to two inches of ribbon pass right here from where you tied your first knot and then you're going to tie a second knot right here. Let the kids try this. Lots of fun for them. Tie your knot there. That's going to keep your hearts separated. That's going to really make your garland very, very special and pretty. Then you're simply going to weave into the next heart."
