Strategic by its very nature basically talks about a fund manager setting up on a strategy to grow the funds value using certain income models. Income vehicles range from bonds to stocks, to dividends etcetera. This is a very mathematical driven venture and the fund manager has to be very much a value investor as well. Looking for stocks that are going to throw off a significant income streams back into the fund. And of course this is a function of how successful the stocks are and how much income they in turn can bring back to the funds. So it's a very much an actively managed role that is necessary for the fund manager to play in this area known as actively managed funds strategic income funds.
