"Now we're going to do the mattress stitch. I'm going to show you how you can sew your garment together. For starters, you're going to want to line up, the pieces. So if this is the underarm of my sleeve, I'm going to pin it to the underarm of the back. So, this is where those lock in markers, come in to place. I'm going to clip that shut. Now these stripes are as much as a help, as a challenge, because I can use those stripes to line it up, to put my markers in, but I'm also going to want to get those even when I start sewing. So, we're going to use all of those, and pin it together. And when I get down to my ribbing, this is that knit one, purl one ribbing. I'm going to pin it all together, and then, what I'm going to do, is, I have a strand that I left in here, that's long. I like to leave long tails when I'm working, so I have ready made threads for sewing. So, you're going to take your knitting, and even with the right side showing, you're going to take your yarn, and you're going to go into the very base of the stitch, opposite where your yarn is coming through. And now this stitch marker is no longer necessary, because I've already a little connected. And then what you're going to do is go in the way you came out, and I use my finger underneath as a guide, and I'm going to go under the stitches, and come out on one side, and then I'm going to go into the same place, that I came out on the other side. You can see that's right here. And I'm going to go out, and I'm going to come to that same first, white stitch, so that I'm even. And I'm going to go through, and I'm going to pull that. And when you pull it, it becomes like an invisible stitch. But if I go back again, and I want to see where I was, this is where I was, so I'm going to go in where I came out. I'm going to go down to the bottom of that green stripe. I'm going to go in where I was, and go to the end of that green stripe on the other side. So, that when I pull it, it becomes invisible, and you can't see it. So, this is what it looks like when it's done. This is the seam, so all the stripes pretty much match up. And here's my seam from the front and the back."
