"So, now that we've got our two earflaps, we're going to incorporate them into the cast on for the hat. So, this is a little different than the way we cast on for the other hat, so I'm going to start out by casting on five stitches, and then I'm going to take one of my earflaps, and I'm going to knit it into the cast on. This is why there's no seam there, and you could see that got a little loose. Just tug it, we'll weave that in later, and I'll knit across this earflap. And then, we'll cast on for the front of the head, and that's another fifteen stitches, so we'll knit onto that. Drop my double point. And now, I'm going to do what's called an easy wrap cast on. It's different than the other one, it's called easy wrap because you're just wrapping the yarn around your thumb, and putting the stitch on. Wrap it around your thumb, so it's going clockwise, and wrap it on, and this is something you can do whenever you have to cast on stitches in the middle of your row. So, we need fifteen stitches. And when I've got those stitches, I'm going to go back, and I'm going to knit on to the other earflap, and that first stitch, again, will be a little loose, but that'll be part of the finishing later on. Knit across this double pointed needle, and then we'll finish casting on for the back of the hat. And then, they get joined in the round, and joining the round is the same as we did before, we've just added our earflaps into the hat. So, I'm going to go back and do that easy wrap, wrapping the yarn clockwise around my thumb. One, two, three, four, five, so that's the back. So, now I'm going to take my stitches and, again, you want to make sure that they're not twisted. Okay? And, make sure that they're all sitting the same way, and I'm going to put my needles together, and I'm going to join them, and I'm going to knit from the right needle to the next. Now, I'm joined and around."
