"So here we are with our crocheted swatch. You've got your row of single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet. And you see they get taller as you go. For the triple crochet you're going to wrap the yarn around the hook twice before you go into that first stitch. Wrap draw the yarn through. You've got four loops. Wrap draw through two. Wrap draw through two. And wrap draw through two again. Wrap the yarn around the hook twice before beginning the stitch. Wrap. You've got four. Wrap go through two. Wrap go through two. Wrap go through two. And you see it's much, much taller. It's very easy to forget how many times you wrap around the needle but it'd be easy to see if you didn't wrap it enough by the height difference. So if I did a double here in the middle of those triples you'd see immediately that it's much shorter than the other ones. And you'd just be able to pull that one stitch out, put your hook back in and go back to making the triple. Crochet is very forgiving that way. It's very easy to take out one stitch at a time."
