"There are times with when you can work your cable cross without a cable needle. So for our two two cable front cable, I'm going to slip the first two stitches that I originally put on a cable needle onto my right hand needle. And then I'm going to knit my second two stitches. Now I'm going to insert my left hand needle into those two slip stitches that I had before. So I've got the two largest knit and the two I slipped. And then while holding the base of those stitches together with my thumb and forefinger. I'm going to pull the cable needle out of all four stitches. Don't touch the working yarn. So now the two I slipped are on the left hand needle. And I'm going to take my right hand needle and slide it into those stitches that were hanging out there. So there's the beginning of my cable cross. And then I'm going to knit those stitches that I had originally slipped. So that creates a cable without a cable needle which you really can't tell any different from the original one."
