"Hey, you've got tangles and you've got knots and you're not sure what to do. Well my name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how to remove knots and tangles from your hair. Now remember, make sure and have a de-tangling conditioner or a leave in conditioner that you can spray on the hair. Make sure and saturate that area where the knots are, being sure to get it covered very well because we want to make sure the hair is nice and wet. It makes it slippery so that the brush or comb can comb right through those knots. Now when you grab the hair, make sure and start in small sections. We don't want to pull your client's hair because this can be hurt, it can hurt. If you're doing your own hair, just make sure and have a little bit of tension. Start at the ends and work your way up. Now if it starts to dry out, just grab your spray and add a little bit more, rubbing it with your fingers and working the knot out as such. Just like this. Knots and tangles can be removed very easily, but sometimes it takes patience. If your hair is very curly like our model here, you'll want to section the hair off, taking your time and using a brush or a wide tooth comb, making sure that you start at the ends and work your way up. Once you've completed a section, go ahead and get it out of the way and go on to your next section. Getting knots and tangles out of your hair is something that can hurt, and you can try to lessen the hurt by using shampoos and conditioners that can soften your hair. Remember, if you're having trouble at home, you can always check with your local professional. Remember, this is how you can remove knots and tangles from your hair."
