"Getting your new cat adjusted to the main house hold can be a little bit of a challenge sometimes. There are some tips and tricks that I'll show you right now to help your new cat adjust. So once it's done with it's isolation period and we know that it's healthy, one of the easy things you can do is you can take a bed from the main part of your house and bring it in to the cats new room and let your cat smell it, get use to it, sit in it. You can also do the opposite. Bring the new cats bed out into the main environment so your other cats can get used to the way that cat smells and what scents and pheromones that it has left behind. You can start to introduce the new cat into the house by using a carrier method. You can take a carrier like this, a little cat carrier, and put one of the cats in the carrier, while you are supervising, set the carrier down on the floor, sort of in a neutral environment. Maybe in the middle of the living room or on the kitchen floor. With the cat in here the other cats will come and sniff around at the cat without being able to harm it or interact in any major or threatening way."
