"Hi, this is Aaron Hale at Fitness For Life in Wilmington, North Carolina, here to give you a few tips on how to lose weight a little quicker on the treadmill. Number one, probably the biggest thing about losing, if you really want to see the weight come off quick, the interval training is what we've found to be the greatest thing for any of clients or any of our friends that really are looking forward to loosing the weight quickly. Interval training is pushing yourself almost to your maximum heart rate at a very, for a short period of time and then having a recovery period where we bring that back under a target heart rate to where we get to a resting point and then elevate that back up. Typically, it's about a two minute to one minute variation where it's two minutes for to almost right there at a maximum heart rate, then we bring it back down for a recovery period. Over time the recovery period becomes longer because we can't, we're not able to sustain that sort of intensity for a very long period of time. However, twenty to thirty minutes is all you're really going to need with interval training. Push hard, recover, push hard again, recover. You're going to have to repeat this probably two or three times a day, but you're going to start seeing. But that's not the only thing. A lot of people say, "Well I've been working hard, I've been working hard." You've got to mind there's a lot of other elements that come into play to losing weight. Got of a mind your diet. Make sure you're consuming water, not just tea and coffee, you've got to make sure that you're getting water itself. If you're minding your diet, if you're taking in plenty of water, and you're not polluting your system with a lot of other toxins and you're really focusing on working out, interval training, or some running. Probably have to stay away from walking. But if you mind those things, good diet, clean lifestyle, and some interval training, you can lose weight using the treadmill."
