"Morph is an interesting ability that allows you to play certain creatures and other types of permanents. Face down instead of face up. There are rules built into the game to keep it from becoming just an honor system. But we'll cover that, at the end. Any creature that has a morph ability, can be played face down, secretly. For three colorless mana. While it's face down, it's a 2/2 creature with no creature type. And zero converted mana cost. It can be turned face up as a special action without using a stack. For it's morph cost. In this case, two blue mana and two colorless. The morph cost is paid when it's turned face up. And many morph creatures have an ability. That triggers upon it being turned face up. This one says, when Voidmage Apprentice is turned face up. Count your target spell. A very powerful ability. Another side effect of morph is, that if you use a morph creature. You have to reveal it, at some point. Even if it's still face down, by the end of the game. Because if you don't, the game is automatically a loss for you. If you don't reveal your morph creatures, at the end of the game. And instead, shuffle them into your deck. Without giving your opponent a chance. Just see, that it was in fact a morph creature. That counts as cheating."
