"Hi this is Jeff the two wheeler dealer. Today I'm going to show you how to install bar ends on your bike. Bar ends are useful mostly on mountain biking and off road situations. It's nice to have an extra hand position especially for long grueling cross country climbs. The easiest way to install them is actually with a hammer and what you are going to do is hit the end of the handle bar and it's going to cut a circle into the grip and this will allow you to just slide the grip on about three quarters of an inch further, so that you can install the bar end which is just the thickness of that. Start just hitting the circle around the end of the bar and it should cut you off a nice perfect little hole. And then you can use anything really to remove that little circle, it should just pop out. And then you can use an air compressor, works the best, to slide the grip on a little bit further. Just leave yourself enough room for the thickness of the bar end. And most bar ends use a five millimeter allen screw to attach to clamp around the handle bar, place the bar end on the end of the handle bar, usually a good position is going to be about perpendicular to your brake levers. This particular bike doesn't have brake levers but otherwise just find a good comfortable position for your hands, slide it all the way on and then secure the pinch bolt with the five millimeter. And that's how to install bar ends."
