"Hi this is Jeff at The Two Wheeler Dealer. Today I'm going to show you how to properly set your saddle height. This can benefit you many ways as far as power output and comfort, overall comfort while riding the bike. To start locate the clamp of the seat post. There's two different styles. This particular bikes uses a standard 5 millimeter allen wrench. The other would use a quick release lever. On this one you just insert the wrench, turn it counter clockwise to loosen it and from there the seat post should move freely. Things to look for when determining the proper saddle height are going to be good leg extension. When the peddle is in the full down position you want to look for a slight bend in your knee without it being completely locked out as well as not too great of a bend. This seems to be about the proper saddle height. The other determining factor is just going to be comfort. If you feel like, when you're putting your power through the peddle strip, if you feel like you're trying to push yourself up off of your seat you probably need to raise it a little bit. And if you feel like you're overextending and having to point your toe in the ground when coming through the bottom of a rotation you should definitely lower it a little bit. And kind of play with it until you find a good comfortable height where you get good power transfer as well as comfort. And that's how to adjust your seat."
