"Is your child screaming to stop at a fast food place for some burgers and fries? Hi, my name is Erin Sheppard, with Austin Baby, and I'm going to talk to you about feeding your child healthy meals. So one way to get around the fast food battles, is setting a great presentation at home, and really holding the family dinner, something very special to your family. We're going to start with a chair, that's appropriate for the child. They need to be comfortable. I really like these chairs that, they're not high chairs, but they can start with very small infants, as you can see, but by just moving down the footrest, you can make it really grow with the child, all the way into an adult chair. Another thing that we'll do to help your child eat healthy meals, is having a nice place mat, which A is easy to clean, and you can also get some that have activities on the back, if you need to keep them engaged. We also have the cloth napkin, which almost every child enjoys. Some stainless steel ware, and a glass drinking glass. Having non plastic items, not only exposes them to other textures, which they'll enjoy, but they'll also appreciate being in an adult situation, and knowing that you consider them very important. In this situation, we have a bamboo plate, which is just perfect for a child's size. This is another great texture to have their food on, and it also doesn't give them that overwhelming, very large plate, which feels like they're going to go into a battle, having to eat it all. We have what can be fish sticks, tofu sticks, or chicken sticks, that are lightly breaded. We have steamed green beans. We have ketchup which it all might end up touching the ketchup a little bit, and we have an easy quinoa pilaf, with some vegetables, and water, milk, or maybe a yogurt drink, depending on your child's taste, so having lots of color, and a great presentation, will really help your child have a conducive environment, to eating those healthy snacks, and meals, and really enjoying them. Always check with your health care provider, about what is your child's unique needs, to make sure that you're meeting those, but remembering protein, and natural colored foods, will really pack a lot of nutrients into your child's diet. Enjoy feeding your child those healthy meals. Enjoy your family dinners, and until next time, I'm Erin Sheppard, with Austin Baby."
