Juggling 4 Balls: 534 Site Swap

"In this video I'm going to talk about side swap pattern 534. Now, as ridiculous as it may sound, just a string of numbers, I think this is one of my favorite patterns. It looks pretty odd at first, but what's really going on is I'm throwing a five, a three, a four, then a five, three, four. So what's happening is a high cross, low cross, straight up, then from my left hand a high cross, low cross, straight up, and keep going. It looks something like this, let's see if we can start it. Failed, start again. See if you can pick out the five the three and the four. It's a pretty good visual effect to have the fours just traveling straight up and down on the outside of your pattern, that's what I just did right there. Another common pattern or approach is to throw a normal four throw that will go from the center to the outside. So that pattern will look something like, let's try that again. Something like that. Hopefully you don't drop like I just did. But again we're talking about the 534 pattern, which would be a high cross, a low cross, then a straight up throw on the side. Something like this. Working up to this you really just have to clean up your five your three pattern, getting that as clean as possible out of both hands, and then linking them together with a four throw to make the switch happen between hands. Just keep practicing it, clean it up as much as you can, and you can make it work."
