"In this video we're going to be talking about club flourishes. Now a flourish is a very common trick. A lot of people use it inside other club patterns to just make things spicier. To spice them up. I'll show you what a flourish looks like. The standard flourish that I've always used looks something like that. So, I'll teach you how to do that right now. What you're going to do for the standard single flourish, is you take this club--instead of catching it normally like this, instead of catching it flat like that, you're going to catch it early. You're going to reach out like this, so the club's still vertical, and you're going to grab it like that. And then, when you're club is like this, you're going to spin it over your thumb, down and through these two fingers. You can start here, use your fingers to push the club over, and turn your wrist out, spin it down, grab it with these two fingers, up and around. Again, you have the club here, down, over, through with these two fingers. If you do it quickly, it's something like that. So this will take some practice to get this fluid. You want to do it with both hands until you can do it pretty quickly, and without any injuries or mishaps where the club goes flying off, because it probably will in the beginning. So again, practice catching early, and flourishing out."
