"Hi this is Les Whitley. I'd like to speak to you on hiring a personal trainer. In hiring a trainer you want to make sure that you do your own personal research to make sure that the person is a good fit but also to make sure that they are qualified to help you achieve your goals. In hiring a trainer look at your level of commitment. Are you going to meet two times a week, one time a week, multiple times throughout the week and for what kind of duration and frequency? If you know that it is going to go more than one week or one single session, look for prices accordingly. Do a little time, make some calls around your local gym or area and find out what the market value and what the going rate for personal training is. It will vary from coast to coast from north to south, your larger metropolitan areas to your smaller rural areas as far as what the price will be. Look for multiple discounts in regard to frequency so if you go with a package of 12, 15, or 20 there should be a slight discount but again that person is a personal trainer and they shouldn't overly discount their services because they should be at the top level of their craft in order to help you reach those goals. If you find someone that is going with rock bottom discount prices look a little deeper to find out why. Either they don't have a great clientele basis or they are starting out and may not have the level of education that is going to help you reach your goals sooner than later. So take some time, do your do diligence, do the research and work towards making that person help you and be a good fit in you achieving your goals."
