"Hi I'm Les Whitley. I'd like to talk to you right now about building and defining the abdominal muscles. Everyone is seeking that six pack, to give you an overall, that healthy look and appearance that is the beach body and synonymous with health. When developing or defining and building abdominal muscles, we are talking about strength training for the midsection. Whether using your own body weight or additional resistance, basic exercises such as the sit up, the crunch, the knee raise, rotational exercises using weight plates or medicine balls will help train that core to develop those abdominals. To define, we're talking about seeing more of those muscles that requires you having a minimal amount of body fat covering over those particular areas. Whether it's defining the muscles of the upper arm, the lower leg or the abdominal midsection you have to minimize to see those results. Reducing body fat requires a combination of things to define or reduce that body fat, to see that musculature you got to modify and alter your diet. As well as increase your level of activity to burn more calories or spend more calories then you are taking in through your diet. The diet should be lower in fat, very low in sugar to utilize all the nutrients you are taking in and support your body for fuel and not to store any excess. After all we are looking to minimize and reduce the impact of the body fact and the visual blocking it can have of those muscles of the midsection. So to build do the exercises to train the core to make them nice and tight and developed. To reduce or define modify the diet and increase your level of activity to get that strong tone midsection that everyone looks for."
